Tessa was born in Bardstown, Kentucky, but raised in Tempe, Arizona and is the youngest of three children. From the age of 12 until she started college, Tessa rode horses competitively in show jumping and for 5 years was also an active member of an Ultimate Frisbee League.
In 2010, Tessa began college at Arizona State University to study Exercise and Wellness where she competed on the ASU Equestrian team as well as the ASU Women's Ultimate Frisbee team. Tessa decided to move to Orlando in late 2015 to participate in the Walt Disney World College Program for 8 months and then went on to work for Sea World and Universal Studios in the Guest Services Department.
Outside of Orlando Gymnastics, Tessa does promotional work and event planning for EDM shows around Orlando and Miami. In her free time, she likes to work out, go to music festivals, and go on spontaneous adventures with friends!
