Stephen was born in Fairfax, Virginia, but grew up in Boulder, Colorado. Growing up he was a gymnast for over 20 seasons. He competed 6 years at an elite level and 4 years as a collegiate gymnast. Stephen was a gymnast at Arizona State University where he was a National Champion and All– American gymnast. While attending Arizona State Stephen majored in psychology. He was motivated to start coaching because he had an amazing coach as anathlete. Stephen comes to us with over 16 years of coaching experience. He has coached both girls and boys in a competitive manner and had coached many state and regional champions, even a few National champions. He even has coached athletes that have gone on to compete at a collegiate level.
Stephen is excited to bring his passion for coaching to Orlando Gymnastics. He wants to create a positive practice environment for all of our athletes and will not compromise on his values as a coach.
