Team and Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Shanna began taking gymnastics classes at age 3 at Park Avenue Gymnastics in Weston, FL. At age 5, she was invited to join team as a Level 2. She trained in gymnastics for 10 years and then changed courses when she was training level 7/8. At 13 years old, she started competitive cheerleading, and competed for 3 years as a level 4/5 cheerleader.
When she was 14 years old, and a freshman in high school, she started coaching at Park Avenue Gymnastics. She has experience in coaching preschool, all girls? recreational classes, Pre-Team, and has assisted with team. After coaching for about 4 years, she went off to college. Shanna loves working with kids and seeing the joy in their face when they are able to achieve a new skill.
She is currently a sophomore at the University of Central Florida. She is a Sport and Exercise Science major and plans to get a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
