Luis Valladares

Luis was born in Alexandria, Virginia, but raised right here in Florida. In his sophomore year of high school, Luis discovered the art of tricking through b-boying and it became his greatest passion. He began training on his own for 5 hours every day and became dedicated to teaching himself as much as he could. Luis attended many open gym sessions as a means of working out and meeting new people, which eventually led him to being sponsored by Gym Crew, a group of highly trained gymnasts, trickers, dancers and free style acrobats. Working with Gym Crew enhanced all of his basic skills and taught him both gymnastics and freestyle acrobatics. In 2013 his training paid off and Luis had the amazing opportunity to star in a feature film called “The Last One”. After that, Luis competed in a national AAU competition which placed him 2^nd and 3^rd in the country for freestyle acrobatics in the speed course and the freestyle course respectively. Luis has coached both recreational gymnastics and freestyle classes at other gymnastics facilities and he is now excited to bring his knowledge to Orlando Gymnastics!
