Jessie Brightman

Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Jessie was born in London, England, and moved with her family to Florida in 2000. She was a gymnast at Orlando Gymnastics for almost 8 years. Jessie trained at an elite level competitively as a Level 8 gymnast and her favorite events were beam and bars. Some of her gymnastics achievements include winning 1st place All Around in the Sand Dollar Invitational at Disney's Wide World of Sports and 1st place Floor at Gasparilla Classic, one of the largest competitions in Florida.

Jessie is excited to bring her attention to form and detail from her own gymnastics to the little ones she coaches. She's been coaching at Orlando
Gymnastics for nearly six years. Jessie is very excited to be back coaching for the summer after studying at Emory University in Georgia for the past year. Before leaving to Atlanta, Jessie coached all ages and levels at Orlando Gymnastics—from preschool to competitive team. While in Atlanta, Jessie co-coached the Emory University gymnastics club.

Jessie's passion for children started with her family—where she has two younger sisters and a younger brother. At university Jessie studies applied mathematics and medicine, hoping to become a pediatric surgeon. Jessie is excited to apply her passion for physics and mathematics to gymnastics techniques in the classes she teaches!
