Team and Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Garrett was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He began his gymnastics journey at Cypress Academy of Gymnastics when he was 8 years old and competed levels 5 through 7 over a period of four years. When he was 12 years old, he decided to pursue wrestling instead.
In high school he was very actively involved in football and was also the captain of the school's wrestling team. At 16 years old he was eager to return to gymnastics, so he got a job coaching at his former club, Cypress Academy. While there his focus was with boys gymnastics, but he also coached preschool, girls and tumbling classes. Garret coached there for 5 years before moving to participate in the Disney College Program.
Now that he is finished working with Disney, Garrett has returned to coaching once more here at Orlando Gymnastics and loves to spend his free time enjoying time at the beach and the amusement parks.
