Coach Felipa was born in São Paulo, Brazil. When she was 10, her family moved to the US. She started doing gymnastics at the age of 5 and fell in love with the sport. She continued gymnastics for 10 years and had many accomplishments including qualifying for level 7 regionals and placing 1st on floor. During her time as a gymnast she was very inspired by her coaches and wants share that same joy with others. She hopes to take what she learned from her years of gymnastics and share that knowledge with her students. Felipa has been a coach for both our recreational program and the competitive program for over a year. Felipa is excited to continue to learn and grow as a coach!
During her free time, Felipa likes to draw and hang out with her friends. Felipa is enrolled in college and hopes to pursue a degree in computer software engineering and computer science. Felipa is excited to share her passion with her athletes and help them achieve their goals.
